March 16 Jam with Angel
This week’s jam is hosted by Angel Ocasio from the Rose Festival Uke Jam. Angel Ocasio is the Artistic Director and the official mascot, the Clown Prince, of the Portland Rose Festival since 2007. In 2018, Angel became the project director for the first Rose Festival Ukulele Jam and hopes to present another Ukulele Jam at CityFair this summer as part of a smaller version of the Portland Rose Festival. Angel also performs nationally and internationally as a physical comedian. He is a writer and an instructor in the art of comedy and clowning. A lover of the ukulele and classic songs, Angel occasionally performs at local pubs singing and strumming to a variety of his favorite tunes.
